Gas Detection System Installation

Gas Detection System Installation

K & H Medical regularly install new Gas Detection Systems within Laboratories. Typically a Gas Detection System comprises of a Gas Control Panel, Gas Detectors and Sounder/Beacons.

As shown in the photo, Gas detectors need to be installed correctly with consideration for the density of each gas being monitored. A heavier gas will be sensed nearer the floor and a lighter gas will be sensed nearer the ceiling. Gases with a similar density to air will be sensed at mid level. The gases sensed in the photo include Carbon Monoxide and Methane at high level, Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide and Nitric Oxide at mid level and finally Sulphur Dioxide and Carbon Dioxide at low level.

Specialist equipment such as this will need to be installed professionally. Please contact K & H Medical for any specialist Gas Detection System installation requirements.
